Velindre NHS Trust has selected CCube Cloud from Noveva Software Group to provide Wales’ flagship new oncology facility a fully digital records environment.
The appointment follows a rigorous competitive tender process conducted through the LPPframework, which Noveva successfully won to provide a secure, cloud-based Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for the Trust’s new purpose-built cancer facility.
The new cancer centre represents a major investment in oncology services across Wales. As a modern, digitally enabled facility, the centre will operate without traditional on-site paper record storage, relying instead on secure digital systems to manage and access patient records.
CCube’s EDMS will enable the digitisation, storage and secure retrieval of clinical documentation, helping Velindre NHS Trust reduce reliance on paper-based records while improving operational efficiency and accessibility for healthcare professionals.
The solution will also incorporate intelligent document indexing technology, enabling faster and more accurate classification and retrieval of patient records.
In addition, the platform will integrate with Welsh national healthcare infrastructure, including the Welsh Clinical Portal, helping clinicians access patient information within familiar systems and supporting a more integrated digital healthcare environment.
This project marks Noveva Software Group’s third EDMS implementation in Wales, building on its existing long-term partnerships with Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.
